Octagonal Birthing Pool Instructions

Take one side panel and slide a Corner Beam onto each side of the side panel, continue attaching side panels and corner beams until seven sides of the pool are in place. The eighth side of the pool is where the heater unit housing will be located.
Before proceeding any further, be sure that this is where you wish to locate your heater unit. Also note, to allow access to the heater unit, the heater unittop panel will open sliding outwards, away from the Pool. You must allow for an additional 60cm for the heater unit top panel to be slid fully open.

Slide extension beams into pool corner beams so that the grooved edge is facing outward.

Slide the triangular extensionbeams into the extension beams so that grooved edge is facing outward.

Slide the heater unit front Panel into the eighth side of the pool so that it rests on the triangular extension beams.

Slide the heater unitcorner beams onto either side of the heater unit rear panel.

Slide the heater unit left side panel into both the outward groove of the extension beam on the eighth side of the Pool, and the heater unit corner beam already attached to the heater unit rear panel. This will form two sides of the heater unit housing. Place the heater unit into the heater unit housing.

Pull T valve to fully open position to allow water flow.

Slide the heater unit right side panel into both the outward groove of the extension beam on the eighth side of the Pool, and the heater unit corner beamalready attached to the heater unit rear panel. This will enclose the heater unit housing.

Place the foam comfort rails onto all 8 sides the pool.

Place the liner inside the Pool. Connect the heater unit fittings to the pipes protruding from the liner. Be sure that the rubber gaskets are in place on the heater unit fittings.
Hand tighten only, holding each pipe steady and twisting only the fittings.

Stretch the coloured portion of the liner over the foam comfort rails and snap onto the metal snaps on the corner beam caps.

Start to fill the Pool to approximately 5cm. Push the bottom edges of the liner tight to the side panels to remove any wrinkles in the liner. Continue filling. You can fill the pool with hot or cold water but bear in mind that if you’re filling it with cold it will take around 12-18 hours to heat.

Once the water level is above the inlet and outlet pipes please check the heater unit fittings to the pipes protruding from the liner for any leaks. If any sign of a leak hand tighten only, holding each pipe steady and twisting only the fittings.
Put the running hose in the inlet pipe inside the pool. This will flush any air out of the system.

Put the filter into the filter unit, and then submerge the filter unit the Pool. Attach the filter unit to the filter pipe in the pool by twisting.
The water level must be at least 2cm above the top of the filter housing. Or the heater and filter will not work.

Fit the digital control unit into the slot on the heater unit top panel with the cable extending through the opposite side of the panel.

Connect the telephone jack into the receiver on the heater unit.

Slide the heater unit top panel into place on top of the heater unit housing.

Only once the pool is filled with water should you plug it in. Plug the Heater in using the RCD circuit breaker and press reset.
